Dunn Brick Yard
A 15-acre parcel along East 12th Street, Dunn Brick Yard once was home to the Dunn Company that manufactured bricks in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Hammermill Paper acquired the land in the early 1900s as part of their industrial footprint and when Hammermill was purchased by International Paper in 1984, Dunn Brick Yard was included in the sale. SB3 purchased Dunn Brick Yard out of bankruptcy proceedings in late 2016 after the demise of the Greater Erie Industrial Development Corporation (GEIDC). Dunn Brick Yard is an inactive/archived DEP Superfund Site as all remediation has been completed and satisfied.
