Formerly the sites of the Hammermill Paper Company and the International Paper Company, the SB3 Office Complex and Industrial Park borders the shores of Lake Erie and extends south to the industrial corridor of busy East 12th Street in the City of Erie. The fully renovated SB3 Office Complex—once the administration building for both companies—is furnished with the technology and amenities to accommodate businesses of today and tomorrow.
Awarded by Governor Tom Wolf in April of 2018, SB3 is one of eight Erie locations to be designated as Opportunity Zones as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. In part, this act provides tax incentives to investors who invest new capital in businesses operating in these zones.
